If you had a job opening would you hire a person who had no qualification? The same concept applies with a horse. Do not ever get a horse that the training you need. For sport or for performance situations, this is not up for debate unless you are planning to teach an old dog – or an old horse new tricks. If you are not going to train your horse, you better make sure the training is already there.
